Back again with a special double dip episode of Saturday Morning Samples! We are heading back to the soul sample bin this week with no tone, but TWO songs for you to sample… kinda. We have two versions of the same track “Shadow In Your Footsteps”, from a soul singer named Barbara Stant. I got them from a compilation called This Man Of Mine, which covers a good deal of her career. The first is a nice Soul track with some very useful bits for you to sample. I think the “alternate” version is really the standout here though. It has some nice open breaks with horns at the front and some chirpy organs & vocals samples which I’m sure could be chopped up into something very nice…
